The Bhairav Kund trek takes you to a sacred high-altitude (4200m) mountain lake named after Lord Shiva's destructive aspect. This holy site is visited by both Hindu and Buddhist devotees, especially during the Bhadra (August) Full Moon, to pay homage and cleanse themselves of sins. The trail offers breathtaking views of the Jugal Himal area, including peaks like Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Madiya (6257m), and Phurbi Ghhyachu (6637m), as well as traditional Tamang villages. It takes 10 days of trekking through the stunning Himalayan landscapes to reach the holy lake, which is considered a pilgrimage site for Shamans.
