This course will lead us into the Western frontier of Nepal, along the country's most remote trekking route. The massive mountain ranges of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna loom overhead as we pass through the Gandaki gorge, the deepest in the world, and make our way across rugged passes. One of the more challenging treks in Nepal, the Dhaulagiri course requires a sense of adventure and a healthy dose of flexibility.
This course also includes a 3-day jungle safari in Chitwan National Park and a cultural tour of the Kathmandu valley.

2. Everest Base Camp (EBC), Mar 16 - 31 2009
This journey to the foot of the most impressive mountain range in the world remains one of the most remarkable trekking routes in Nepal for good reason. A delightfully challenging trek through the Khumbu region, with its rich culture and spectacular scenery, will lead us to the top of Kala Pattar (18,450ft) for a breathtaking view of the Sagarmatha (Everest- 29,030ft) and Lhotse (27,560 ft) peaks. This course blends an outdoor adventure with an intimate glimpse into the culture and religion of the local mountain communities, renowned for their warmth and hospitality.
